Queen Creek Unified School District is a leader in the growing East Valley community. Our district consistently provides families with quality education—we are proud of our status as one of the top 10 academic achieving districts in the state of Arizona. To build upon this academic success, QCUSD is increasing capacity and adding more education and enrichment options for the community.
Our Programs & Resources
Discovery Kids Before/After School and Camps
The Discovery Kids program is a before and after-school program that offers structured activities, including homework help and hands-on learning for children at the following sites:

- Desert Mountain Elementary
- Frances Brandon Pickett Elementary
- Faith Mather Sossaman Elementary
- Gateway Polytechnic Academy
- Jack Barnes Elementary
- Katherine Mecham Barney Elementary
- Queen Creek Elementary
- Schnepf Elementary
- Silver Valley Elementary
We offer discounts for siblings and employees. Our programs start at 6:30 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. For rate information, please see the Discovery Kids rate sheet.
The Discovery Kids program also offers camps for school breaks: fall, winter, spring, and summer.
Youth Athletics Program
The QCUSD Youth Athletics Program (YAP) is a district program taught by QCUSD Athletics Program coaches that provides sports opportunities for all students. These opportunities include year-round camps and clinics in a variety of sports held throughout the district facilities.
Some of the opportunities in the YAP include running club, cheer, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, and soccer.
Enrichment Classes

After-School Enrichment Classes
The Queen Creek Unified School District community education department hosts a variety of after-school enrichment programs. *Enrichment prices vary per class.

Facilities
We lease our buildings, facilities, and some equipment to organizations for their community.
We determine prices based on the type of facility you request and the classification of the renter. Rentals are subject to availability. Please fill out our facilities use application and review our rate sheet. Please submit your application two weeks in advance to our Community Education Department, either in person or via email to Tanya Hart.
